My Mommy Makeover Experience
After I had my last child, I was so embarrassed of the way my body looked. I feared that people were going to notice my pouch, and it really lowered my self-esteem and confidence. Finally, I decided to get a Mommy Makeover.
It’s important to find the right doctor for your needs, and that’s what I did. I looked at several doctors. I checked their before and after pictures and even met a few of them, but I ended up choosing Dr. Moraitis, and I got a breast lift and a tummy tuck.
Right after my surgery, I was sore and swollen, but I was immediately happy that I chose a Mommy Makeover. I wondered why I waited so long to choose it, and I knew I was going to be happy with the results. Yes, I have a scar, but it’s easily hidden and much better than a bunch of flab!
Despite being happy with my results, that doesn’t mean I a little uncomfortable during recovery. It’s a serious procedure, and it takes time to recover. Recovery is different for everyone, and it was actually easier than expected.
Having someone around to help was the best. My husband helped take care of the kids, did all the house chores and even emptied my drains. Yes, you will need drains in after the procedure to help facilitate healing.
It’s funny. Before my surgery, I would have never shown anyone my stomach, but now if someone asks me about my procedure or if I had anything done, I willingly tell them exactly what I had done and want to show them my before picture.
I am so happy I chose my mommy makeover with Dr. Moraitis. I look amazing!
