Are you considering combined Tampa Breast Augmentation and Lift Surgery?  If you want to correct droopiness of your breasts, and increase/maintain fullness in the upper portion of your breasts, this combination surgery may be right for you. Breast Augmentation and Breast Lift Surgery at Moraitis Plastic Surgery are two very effective procedures that can be combined or performed alone to achieve the look you desire.

Breast Augmentation involves the use of a breast implant, either saline or silicone, to enhance and/or reshape the breasts.  Breast Lift Surgery utilizes an incision with one of three approaches to help lift and tighten your breasts, resulting in a firmer and more youthful look.

There are multiple approaches to the lifting of the breast, all of which allow for simultaneous augmentation. These start with periareolar lifts which correct very mild degrees of breast droop or areolar positional asymmetry.  Next, are the circumareolar (around the areola) lifts which allow for a greater degree of ptosis correction.  These are usually performed with augmentation.  Then, there are the circumvertical or keyhole incision lifts, which allow for more tapering of the breast with mild to moderate ptosis.  Finally, there are the Wise pattern or anchor incision lifts, for management of moderate to severe ptosis.

Breast Augmentation alone might be right for you if you are wanting to increase your breast size and your breasts have only mild to no droop and your nipples are centered on your breasts at or above the level of your breast fold. Breast Lift may be necessary if you are not looking to increase volume, but correct mild to severe drooping of the breast, or if your nipples are below the level of your fold or you wish to reduce the size of your areolas.

The decision to use an implant for augmentation will vary from patient to patient.  Mastopexy alone may make the breast appear smaller.  Mastopexy combined with augmentation helps maintain or improve breast volume, in particular at the upper pole of the breast.  It also helps fill out the deflated skin of the breast.
